Brakes
Few parts of your car are as crucial to the safety of you and everyone around you as the brakes. Without properly functioning brakes, you are more likely to lose control of your car and cause accidents. You can suspect you are having brake problems if:
- You haven’t conducted a brake inspection for over a year or 12,000 miles
- You’ve exceeded the number of miles recommended between fluid exchanged by your manufacturer
- Your dashboard is indicating that something is wrong with your break with the appropriate light
- Every time you apply the brakes, you hear a grinding or squeaking noise
- After applying the brakes, you can feel your car pull to one side
- It takes your car longer distances to stop than in the past
- The brake pedal takes a longer time to respond, feels spongy
- You need to apply a greater amount of pressure on the brake pedal to make it respond
