The Peugeot 4007 shares drivetrain components with certain Mitsubishi models, which makes proper diagnosis essential — especially with manual and automatic transmission variants.

Our Diagnostic Process
Before removing the gearbox, we carried out:
Full transmission fault code scan
Clutch and hydraulic system inspection
Road test under load
Gear engagement analysis
Oil condition and contamination check
We identified internal bearing wear and synchro damage, which required gearbox removal and rebuild.
The Repair
Gearbox removed and stripped
Worn bearings and synchros replaced
New seals installed
Gearbox oil replaced with manufacturer-spec fluid
Full road test and recalibration
The vehicle now shifts smoothly with no abnormal noise.
